Brad Moore; MS, CSCS, USAW
Director of Staff Development
What do you enjoy most about coaching?
No matter how much experience I may have, coaching, as in actually being on the floor coaching a group of athletes is always a learning environment. Therefore, I enjoy the everyday research that’s being done and the constant learning. If you’re not learning something every day, then you’re doing something wrong. If you think you’re the smartest person in the room, you need to go somewhere else!
Also, being able to help these young athletes develop into top prospect athletes and enjoy being successful in their sport is a very satisfying feeling of coaching. Of course, it’s fun to yell a lot, but it’s more fun to see the committed athletes take what they’ve accomplished with us on to bigger success in their lives (and maybe we’ll get a free t-shirt from it!).
Who is your favorite type of client to work with?
I enjoy working with anyone who is committed and willing to put in good work consistently. I enjoy working with athletes most, but if anyone were to come up to me and tell me that they’re committed to train under me and have a goal in mind I would coach anyone. We tell a lot of people that we’ll always be here to help make you better, but if you don’t show up there’s nothing we can do.
In which area do you excel the most in your job?
If you’ve played a sport you’ve probably had a coach who was harsh and did not put up with anything during practice or a game, but off the field was very nice and personable. I find myself fitting that character most days by doing the same. If you know me, I don’t mess around when I coach because my goal is to get the job done and done well with my athletes. Off the floor though I like to joke and have fun with them.
Also, in my role as Director of Staff Development, I excel in having a solid business mindset in hopes to help the company continue to grow as it has been since 2013.

Tell us something about yourself!
Jack of all trades. I own my own coffee roasting business (Peak Roasters Coffee Co.) on the side, plays bass, can cook a mean homemade meal, and can fix close to anything.
