Director of Strength & Speed Development
What do you enjoy most about coaching?
Helping our members realize their full performance potential, and seeing them continually develop and achieve their individual goals.
Who is your favorite type of client to work with?
I enjoy working with a wide array of athletes. Any athlete willing to work hard and learn is my kind of kid, as it is my passion to teach, and help them achieve their goals.
In which area do you excel the most in your job?
I believe I excel the most at being prepared and having a plan for each individual that enters the door. Through careful planning and diligence with teaching, we can help any athlete move and feel better. That is where I believe I am most successful at my job.
When did you start working for DiamondFit Performance?
What sports have you played?
While at UNK I played outfield for the Lopers Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference championship baseball team.
Degrees, certifications, and accolades…
I am a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Kearney with a Master’s degree in Exercise Science.
After graduating I spent time as a strength and conditioning coach at NC State University, Florida Atlantic University, the University of Nebraska-Kearney and Western Nebraska Community College.
I am currently certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and the United States of America Weightlifting Association (USAW).
Tell us something bout yourself!
Outside of work, I enjoy playing recreational sports, spending time with friends and family, and of course, crushing weights!
